Hello,

I first want to say welcome; I’m so glad you’ve made your way here! You probably already know what this site is about (*cough* DIY), but you might not know who I am or why I created this blog, so here it goes.

My name is Jeannie, and I’ve loved creating for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was always helping my Dad paint and build all sorts of things, one of my favorite places to go was the hardware store (still is), and I loved art.

Building and creating are therapeutic outlets for me. I am most happy when I'm working towards a goal or working on a project. You will ALWAYS catch me working on something.

I started this blog as a creative outlet to share my projects with others while also helping myself reflect on what I’ve done. I often don't appreciate how much work went into something I did. Taking the time to write about and organize my thoughts on projects helps remind me that I did something awesome.
